This court has jurisdiction over all civil litigation, such as contractual disputes, wrongful dismissal and negligence actions (General Division). It also presides over family and divorce matters, adoptions, child protection matters (Family Division), and trials of indictable offences under the Criminal Code. Grants of probate in wills and estate matters also issue from this court.
